About Us
Our brand started with a dog who loves big, is clever and curious, brings chaos (the good kind), and never needs a reason to be delighted.
About two years ago, our founder adopted a lab/husky/heeler mix from a local shelter — one ear that stands straight up, one that flops over, and a pair of amber eyes that take in the whole world like it's brand new. His name is Máximo, and the first few months were a little rocky, honestly. Learning each other's language and figuring out how to channel his unending energy took time. But it didn't take long to figure out that adopting him was one of the best decisions we've ever made.
Máximo doesn't need convincing to be happy. He's enchanted by the leash, the window, a bug on the wall, the concept of going anywhere at all. When something goes wrong, he shakes it off and moves on to the next good thing without a second thought. Somewhere in there is a whole philosophy: find the joy in the ordinary stuff, let go of what doesn't matter, and live like every walk might be the best one yet.
That's the whole brand, really. My Máximo Life is built around the things that bring us joy — the silly, the beautiful, the slightly chaotic, and the everyday kind of magic — all filtered through the spirit of one very enthusiastic dog.
We've got four collections, each one a different flavor of that same joy:

Every design is original illustrated art, made-to-order so nothing sits in a warehouse before it finds its person. We're not trying to sell you a dog brand or a book brand or a Disney brand — we're trying to make something that feels like you, in whatever form that takes.
